In this post, I’ll show you how to create the perfect soothing chamomile milk tea to help you to sit back, relax, and unwind after a stressful day and ease you in to a better night sleep.
- 200 mL water
- 300 mL milk
- 2 Chamomile tea bags
- Honey to taste
- Cinnamon to taste
Place 2 chamomile tea bags In a pot of 200 mL of water and bring to a boil.
Add 300 mL of milk to tea and close the lid for a few seconds. Be careful not to let the milk bubble out of the pot at this point. Bring to a simmer.
Add honey to taste. Sprinkle cinnamon as desired an extra natural, wholesome spice.
This beverage contains zero caffeine. The natural herbal effects of the chamomile flowers aids in a better night sleep. Chamomile is a type of herb that has been known for centuries as a calming agent. The honey gives a sweet, natural flavor, and the heated milk contains small amounts of tryptophan that creates melatonin, which makes you sleepy.
